BIO ENERGY INNOVATIONS

Production Slated for Panhandle Location

(Clarendon, TX) Texas-based Excel BioFuels, a biodiesel consulting and catalyst sales firm, announced today the purchase of a 55 acre tract of land along US Highway 287 and the Burlington Northern rail tracks just east of Clarendon, TX. "We chose this location for a number of specific reasons," said Excel Chairman and CEO Bright "Bubba" Newhouse from the company's temporary headquarters three miles west of the new plant location site. "Our primary business focus now is to help other community-based biodiesel producers and investors learn from our experience with home town biodiesel production. We wanted to find a location for our eventual test facility that was centrally located to cover the entire population of North America... plus it needed to be easily accessible to reliable highway and rail transport. This piece of ground outside Clarendon fit the bill on all accounts."

Newhouse, a successful farmer and early veteran of biodiesel research and production, has assembled a team of biodiesel consultants covering all aspects of biodiesel plant development, construction, production, specialty chemicals formulation and marketing. "I think what makes our approach unique is that we have taken the time to find the very best new technologies that lend themselves to profitable small-scale biodiesel production." Newhouse explains that for Excel BioFuels "small scale" means plants producing less than 10 million gallons per year. "We also put a team in place to identify and source reliable and readily available supplies of all chemicals... including catalyst... that are necessary for biodiesel production. If the catalyst and chemical supplies are not steady and reliable, the home town producer will fail. We have made a major commitment to our clients to keep their supply of all production needs secure and steady."

Excel BioFuels already claims a list of biodiesel development clients across North America... with growing client interest worldwide. "In just these past few weeks we've had biodiesel development inquiries from China, Taiwan, The Philippines, India, South Africa and Norway. We have team members ready to go anywhere anytime that we can help revitalize a local community with small scale biodiesel development."
